I’m Donielle Jones, and I don’t chase titles. I set the standard. For over a decade, I’ve led Quality Management and Owner’s Representative programs across mission critical data centers and utility-scale renewable energy — substations, BESS, gen-tie systems, and vast solar fields that fuel entire communities and power the infrastructure the world depends on. But let’s be clear: titles and job descriptions only scratch the surface.
I lead Quality Management and Owner’s Representative programs across mission critical and renewable energy infrastructure — identifying risk early, strengthening accountability, and driving safe, reliable project turnover and owner acceptance.
Take the Optimist Solar + Storage Project—200 MWac of solar, and 50 MW of BESS for TVA. I owned the end-to-end scope of the substation: 90+ Tesla Megapacks, inverters, overhead collection, and every bolt between the first pour and final energization. We didn’t just deliver; we set the bar. Passed every test. Delivered results built to last.

As Owner’s Representative, I provide Quality oversight across MV/LV critical power infrastructure — switchgear, generators, ATS, CDS, UPS systems and enclosures, PDUs, and RPPs — for a hyperscale data center campus spanning 86 MW and 430,000 square feet. My focus is commissioning readiness, deficiency management, turnover documentation, and owner acceptance across every data hall.

Project Overview
The Atrisco Solar Project stands as a flagship achievement in renewable energy, marking Clēnera’s largest solar-plus-storage endeavor to date and a cornerstone of New Mexico’s clean energy future. With 364 MWdc of solar power and 1200 MWh of battery storage, this project powers communities while advancing America’s renewable energy infrastructure. I played a pivotal role in ensuring its success, overseeing critical quality assurance processes that enabled seamless grid integration and long-term reliability.
My Role & Impact
As a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Manager, I took ownership of the 345kV substation’s quality standards—a vital component connecting the solar array and BESS to the grid. I managed the QAQC processes for a complex setup, including 16 feeders on the solar side and 8 feeders in the BESS yard, ensuring flawless integration of 348 Tesla battery units and an 80 MVA Howard transformer. My hands-on leadership ensured every element, from conduit audits to structural inspections, met rigorous safety and performance benchmarks, achieving 100% compliance with zero incidents.
